Admittedly, this might sound like the brainchild of a mischievous mind, but you’ll be glad they came up with it. Edinburgh Shock Football is a brilliantly entertaining and hilarious activity that’s quickly becoming one of our most popular.

Upon arrival, you’ll meet our coordinator, who will explain the event and fit each player with a shock device linked to a control box. Each player is numbered, and as the games begin, you’ll rotate in and out, taking turns at ‘pressing the buttons’ to deliver shocks at random. The anticipation of a sudden shock keeps pulses racing and legs misbehaving.

While your instinct might have you dishing out shocks like Thor, remember that payback is inevitable. Even the toughest guys have crumpled when hit with a shock just as they’re about to score.

We’ll guide your group through a few warm-up games before diving into the 5-a-side match, where the real comical antics begin.
